A random act of kindness may just be one of the most spectacular, wonderful things you may do in your Life or be the recipient of one. Recently I was the receiver of a gift which made my day and the week that followed. It’s a long story but suffice to say I was tired, a little fragile with too many errands still to do. Here’s the short version:
An Act of Kindness
I went into a local store specifically to buy flowers for house guests shortly to arrive. I was not feeling well and in my confusion forgot my wallet at home. A store employee, who was aware of my situation, bought me not one, but 2 cheery bouquets of tulips. I was without words and all I could say was a heartfelt “Thank You”. This made my day and during the following week I remembered her kindness to me. The week turned out so well creating many happy memories. A random act of kindness ~ what an encouragement.
Share a Smile
A simple gesture, if you are able can bring a great amount of joy, perhaps to someone who may not feel they deserve a gift. Simply sharing a smile, a hello or a kind word may just make someone else’s day.

As the receiver of such a kind gesture, from a complete stranger, it was such an uplifting experience and bought much joy to my life in that moment. Simply, the mere fact that someone I did not know took the time to think about me and do something kind and generous was so special. A sunny memory, and yes,
