It has been almost six months since my last lung medical report and it has been a most busy and productive time. After a fabulous two months away visiting family and friends I returned home to a happy Christmas spent with my great family and two super special grandsons. Two days into the New Year I underwent surgery to remove the extensive chest lesions which had the potential to be another cancer. Several weeks later a very lengthy surgical report was received with the stress releasing news that the lesions were "negative for malignancy". A belated Happy New Year! And now I have just had my appointment with my respirologist with information on the latest CT lung scan which happens to be the 3 year anniversary of the lung cancer surgery.

- Absolutely awesome!
The report was so incredibly positive I was absolutely overwhelmed. Yes, there are still nodules (one reduced and the rest stable) and monitoring will continue.

And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true
As well as Lung Cancer ...
Coincidentally, my annual physical checkup with my family doctor was during this time. This too was an extremely favourable report in most areas. Of special note is the improvement in my cholesterol levels and I am no longer pre-diabetic which translates into no prescription medication at this time. I attribute these encouraging changes in part to my improved Lifestyle; including diet, daily juicing, fresh garlic and turmeric, loss of weight and increased exercise during the past year.
I wanted to share this uplifting news as it is easy to dwell on the negatives with cancer.

After such good news and feeling the best physically (and medically) that I have for many years I am motivated to continue our new Lifestyle, with minor amendments. I am so very thankful to be treated and cared for by exceptional medical professionals. Thank you.
Whatever challenges you are facing I sincerely hope this note encourages you. I can hear the rain outside, the robins are singing ~ the air is sweet! There is no way your day could be as good as mine. But I hope it was.
Enjoy life!
