Looking for great Christmas gift ideas? Christmas is around the corner and we are looking forward to getting together with, and hearing from old friends, family and those we love from both near and far. It is a time of traditions, special meals, music and most of all a wondrous time for young children; dazzled by bright colourful lights, stories and Santa Claus. One of my first happy Christmas memories is being with family at the beach and the joy that children derive from this special time of the year. Here are my favourite Christmas articles with many great Christmas gift ideas:

    1. Eco-friendly Christmas Gift Ideas

These gift ideas range from tree selection to choice of gift wrap and includes suggestions on how we can recycle, reuse or make gifts ourselves to reduce our carbon footprint. We discovered we can do with a lot less than we thought!

    He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

    2. 12 More Great long distance Christmas Gift ideas

If you have family overseas or are ill and unable to travel to get together with family and friends here are a variety of ideas to help you to share the Christmas Season with others.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas Just like the ones I used to know Where the treetops glisten, and children listen To hear sleigh bells in the snow

    and children listen

    3. Christmas is coming

Here are 32 more gift suggestion ideas, maybe these will help reduce seasonal stress and allow you to enjoy the holiday Season more.

    4. 12 Christmas gift basket ideas

First of all these Christmas gift basket ideas are simple to put together and always a hit. They are based on a basket, cello wrap and lots of ribbon, a card and a bit of imagination  choosing the contents with almost endless variations. Easy to do yourself, adding your personal touches with gifts you know the recipient enjoys. Excellent, all occasion gift ideas. Finally, Christmas would not be the same without chocolate treats and Mum's no-bake truffles.

    5. Decadent Christmas Chocolates

    and

    6. Mum's No-Bake Christmas Truffles

Hoping some of these gift suggestions will inspire your own unique and creative ideas. As Christmas is also a wonderful time to give back to others perhaps a donation to a charity on behalf of a family member since this simple gesture is all that is needed to create happy memories for others who may not be as fortunate as ourselves. Joy to you and your family and blessings in the New Year.

    For to us a child is born, to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
