Top Tweets for 2022. I usually do not post articles on politics or war both of which occurred very early in the year. The Truckers Convoy in Ottawa and Covid mandates "news" burst forth into full blown war as Russia invaded neighbouring Ukraine. What are the main areas of "interest "news" outside of these two topics, and now others, which overshadow our news. So, what was of interest this past year @CaramelParsley ...
The top four retweets in January were all from Dr Atanas Atanasov. Top was "Dairy Product Consumption in Relation to Incident Prediabetes & Longitudinal Insulin Resistance"
The Truckers Freedom Convoy in Ottawa and the PM's "Emergency Act" dominated news media this "historic" month. But the following super short video roared to #1 within hours of posting. "Transforming Health: Food AS Medicine" a remarkable personal journey ... sharing to give you hope from @nicknorwitz" Thank you Dr Norwitz!
Overshadowing the rest of the month, and year, was the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the continuing loss of life and liberty. Also death, wounded or displaced persons in many global locations. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all as well as their global families.
Highest interest: "Strait of Georgia & Howe Sound Glass Sponge Reef Conservation Initiative". All types of bottom contact fishing are prohibited in areas where glass sponge reefs exist.'
Two posts were popular in April starting with the overwhelmingly top tweet from Dr David Unwin. "Doctor's low-carb transformation with Dr. David Unwin". A 43 min video interview with one of UK’s “National Treasures”. Dr Unwin has helped more people than he will ever know.
Another high interest tweet in April was: Clinical Trials "Ivermectin & Pembrolizumab for the Treatment of Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer"
"A Cure for Type 2 Diabetes Blindness" with Dr James Muecke, Dr Robert Lustig et al - a continuing high interest topic.

"Formalizing exposure to nature as a health recommendation was top retweet this month. Strolling through the forest, gardening, engaging in outdoor activities, marveling at the trees & birds. What could be better for the body and mind? RT from Dr Atanasov
Here is one of the many popular retweets in August: "Effects of garlic and its major bioactive components on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease: A systematic review and meta-analysis of animal studies" RT by J. P. Fanton
SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER 2022
No contest here! In just over 12 hours this retweeted tweet became the top for 2022. Right out front on the reality of Covid19 with Ivor Cummins @FatEmperor 'The Ultimate Covid19 Decoding - Everything Explained for the Layperson.' 48 min vid (2022)
I think for many the "News of the Year" occurred early in September with the passing of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II. She was loved and cherished by many worldwide and this event eclipsed any other 'news' this year for millions of people.
Very impressive Dr. James Muecke - top again this month with "Turning the Tide" provides an update on his work to make Australia Type 2 diabetes free. a 38 minute video. Well worth watching.
Top tweet to close the year again on health. "Timing of Food Nutrient Intake & its Health Benefits" 'Meal timing is an important factor in regulation of metabolism & reduces risk of metabolic diseases'. Thanks to @HealthyFellow and @_atanas_

War - What Is It Good For
War I despise
'Cause it means destruction of innocent lives
War means tears to thousands of mothers' eyes
When their sons go out to fight and lose their lives.
Good God y'all
What is it good for? Absolutely nothing, say it again
War, huh Lord, lord, lord, lord
What is it good for? Absolutely nothing
Listen to me!
