The annual Caramel and Parsley Top Tweets for the previous year continues: 2020 has been once in a Century occurrence as was reflected from the beginning of 2020 through the following months. There is no way anyone can avoid knowledge and experience of the coronavirus that assaulted the earth and all its occupants. There have been unbelievable stories of losses, hardships, sacrifices, love and heroes. This short article cannot cover the torrent of information, both real and fake, which has flooded our lives through social media, etc. These are the Top Tweets for 2020 based on the highest volume of interest :

    Life isn't about waiting ...

January 2020 Top Tweets - In the beginning...

Right off there were 7 very popular tweets, all health related from asthma to pneumonia with two at the top with the first being "What to know about Coenzyme Q10 & its dosage' retweet Dr Atanas Atanasov

Not only a top tweet this month but also in 2019 - "The Bottom Line on Processed Food Toxicity" interview with Dr Robert Lustig, Endocrinologist, by Ivor Cummins. A 36 min highly informative video.

    February 2020

Even with an extra day in the month there were still not enough days to cover the explosion of Coronavirus news which began to circle around the world. Top Tweet was: "Clinical findings in a group of patients infected with the 2019 novel coronavirus (SARS-Cov-2) outside of Wuhan, China: retrospective case series" from the British Medical Journal

    March 2020

There was a very high volume of interest for this month's top tweet : "Calcification & Heart Disease Reversal" Interview with Dr Aseem Malhotra, Cardiologist, and Ivor Cummins

    April 2020

April was a busy month with the BIG interest video of the month being an interview with Dr Aseem Malhotra by the BBC ... "Covid 19 impact mostly driven by obesity".

    May 2020

Besides the following two outstanding tweets this month there were at least 15 others that gained a lot of attention :

    1. From Dr. Atanasov : "Vitamin C supplementation may have a role in decreasing breast cancer metastasis" and
    2. from Dr Aseem Malhotra: "It's about time we were honest about Obesity & Covid19" by Tarek S. Arab

    June 2020

June, the beginning of summer was unusual due to schools being closed but still interest was high for health subjects. A top tweet was "The Relationship between Vitamin K and Osteoarthritis" from Dr Atanas Atansov

    July 2020

The summer is usually slow for Caramel and Parsley but this year there were almost more "top" tweets than days in the month. "How can airborne transmission of Covid 19 indoors be minimised?"

    August 2020

Second time around : Great interview with Dr Ross Walker, Cardiologist & Ivor Cummins "Eliminating Heart Attacks" - so much great information

Kindness is ... Top CAP poster for 2017
Kindness never goes "out of fashion" ... Top CAP poster for 2017

    September 2020

With so much Covid pandemic information circulating on social media I have mostly retweeted known sources and this tweet by Dr Aseem Malhotra was #1 by a large margin.

"Do you have good health? Here are metabolic markers courtesy of
Dr Aseem Malhora, Cardiologist, from his new book "21 Day Immunity Plan"

Metabolic Markers from "21 Day Immunity Plan by Dr Aseem Malhotra (2020)

    October 2020

For many Thanksgiving was not a "family affair" this year but hopefully, like us, you were able to speak or zoom with your loved ones. Top tweet was - "Sweet excess ... how the baby food industry "hooks" toddlers on sugar, salt and fat"

    November 2020

Top Tweet in November 2020 coincidentally was also top in August of this year. I retweeted this important video on heart disease and healthcare as being so timely for us all. It is now the top retweet for 2020 and perhaps the past decade for Caramel and Parsley. "Eliminating Heart Attacks - is it the cholesterol or What ?" with Dr Ross Walker & Ivor Cummins.

Amazingly, the next six top retweets were all attributed to @DrAseemMalhotra - all on current health issues.

    December 2020

A most fitting top tweet to end the year in December as follows. Thank you.

"A regular dose of nature may improve mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic" another retweet from Dr Atanasov

    In Closing:

At times it felt like the year was never-ending, but now we are into a new year. Hoping you have found interest in the summation of tweets from @CaramelParsley during the preceeding year. Once again, 2020 topics were mostly on health. With hopes and prayers for a healthier and happier 2021.

What a learning curve 2020 has been.
THANKS always for your support, follows and interest.
Very best wishes for health and happiness in 2021
~ Kindest regards & take care Liz ❤️
